Herb Horsetail is a dietary supplement in the form of a dried brew containing only one ingredient – field horsetail herb.

Uses of horsetail

Internally

Field horsetail is highly effective when used for internal body problems. It has haematopoietic properties and also seals the blood vessels, which prevents atherosclerosis. It has an anti-rheumatic effect and a stimulating effect on the metabolism, which is particularly appreciated by older people. Seniors should also take note of horsetail’s hormone-stimulating properties.

Externally

Horsetail can be used as an effective mouthwash – mainly due to its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties. It can be used to make poultices to speed up wound healing. It will also help with ulcers, bruises, injuries and burns. For persistent rheumatic pains, baths with a mixture of this plant can be beneficial. Horsetail baths are best for the skin. To prepare it, soak approx. 100 g of the herb in cold water and then heat until it boils. The horsetail prepared in this way should be added to the bath, in which it is advisable to stay for about 20 minutes. When you get out of the bath, instead of wiping yourself dry, it is advisable to put on a bathrobe, lie down in a comfortable place and wait about an hour to dry. This way, the skin will assimilate the most silica.

Horsetail herb (Equisetum arvense) 100%

Suggestion for use:

Pour a glass (250 ml) of hot water over 2 teaspoons (1.5 g), brew under a lid, strain. Drink 3 times a day. Maximum daily serving – 6 teaspoons (4.5 g)
