The oil is extracted from the Guinea oil palm and has a neutral taste. It can be added to coffee, smoothies, salads and ketogenic diet meals. MCT oil Vitaler’s is a neutral-tasting oil containing medium-chain fatty acids (medium-chain triglycerides) — a mixture of caprylic acid (C8) and capric acid (C10).

The oil is extracted from the African oil palm (Elaeis guineensis Jacq.), a plant that grows naturally in Africa and Madagascar. It is not suitable for frying due to its low smoke point.
