Ginger supports the functioning of the digestive system (it increases the secretion of saliva and gastric juice and thus facilitates digestion) and the immune system. It is particularly popular for upper respiratory tract infections.

Ginger juice has a slightly sour, bitter taste, but is great as an addition to tea, cocktails, syrups, tinctures and even wines.

Approximately 1.7 kg of fruit/vegetables are used to produce 1 l of juice. This means that there are more than 400 g of fruit in a 250 ml bottle!

The juice contains only the natural sugars found in fruit, but has a low glycaemic index, so that the sugar is absorbed in smaller quantities than, for example, from artificial fizzy drinks.
