Jarrow Formulas Methyl B-12 2500 µg contains vitamin B12. Methylcobalamin is better absorbed compared to other forms of vitamin B12 (e.g. cyanocobalamin). Methylcobalamin supports nerve tissue and brain cells, better sleep and reconstitutes (via methylation) homocysteine, an oxidative metabolite, back to the amino acid methionine.
Vitamin B12 helps in the normal production of red blood cells and in the normal functioning of the immune system. Vitamin B12 contributes to the reduction of feelings of fatigue and tiredness. Also, vegetarians/vegans often require vitamin B12 supplementation.
