Bilovit Yarrow Essential Oil – 10 ml

Yarrow essential oil is made by steam distillation of the dried flowers and leaves of the Achillea millefolium plant. The perennial plant is widely distributed throughout the world in places with temperate climates. Although the entire genus includes more than 120 species, it is yarrow that is most widely used, and is considered a “first aid” plant in herbalism. It relieves physical and mental fatigue, while offering a truly unparalleled fragrance.

Yarrow oil – properties

Yarrow exhibits antibacterial activity, and is primarily known for its positive effect on wound healing. It stops bleeding and prevents infections, bringing immediate relief. Due to its anti-inflammatory properties, it can be applied to sore joints. It is useful during illness – it helps remove excess phlegm, facilitates breathing and stimulates immunity.

Yarrow essential oil also finds a place in cosmetics, especially for oily and problematic skin – as an additive to your favorite products or a spot treatment. It easily penetrates the epidermis – revitalizing, softening, tightening pores and shallowing fine lines. However, be careful with sensitive skin, as the oil, although natural, is also very potent. The product stimulates hair growth, nurtures strands and eliminates the problem with dandruff.

Spicy and herbaceous with a camphor note, initially refreshing with time dry and woody. Eagerly used in aromatherapy, it is used to relieve stress and mood swings, promotes calmness and supports well-being.

Origin of raw material: Due to its occurrence from Britain to eastern China, the exact origin of the plant has not been determined, only that it is known to have originated in Eurasia.
