Oil of Eucalyptus Radiata – properties

Eucalyptus Radiata essential oil is steam distilled from the narrow, aromatic leaves of a tall and evergreen tree native to Australia. It is particularly valued in winter as it has an expectorant and antitussive effect, as well as immunostimulating, antibacterial, antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties. The oil has a natural cooling effect, which further promotes deep and clean breathing.

This extremely popular oil helps fight airborne germs – it can be used as a spray or diffusion.

Because of its anti-inflammatory effect, Australian eucalyptus essential oil can be used for massage in cases of rheumatism and muscle pain. In addition, it increases blood flow to the head, so it is an effective stimulant for the mind, lifts the spirits and helps to focus.
