Cardamom essential oil is obtained from the seeds of the elettaria cardamomum plant by steam distillation. Although cardamom is most often known as an aromatic spice, it has many therapeutic properties that can be successfully used on a daily basis – for health, appearance and well-being. And this has been known for a long time – in ancient Greece it was synonymous with luxury, in Arabic medicine it was considered an aphrodisiac, and in China it is an invariably important medicinal product.

Cardamom oil – properties

Cardamom essential oil supports the respiratory system, supports the body during infections, reduces headaches and nausea. Known for its antimicrobial properties, it perfectly cleans the air and disinfects small wounds. It can be successfully used as a natural yet effective surface cleaner.
