Protego Sodium Butyrate is a food for special medical use for the dietary management of disorders of the intestinal microflora. The butyric acid release process takes place throughout the small and large intestine.

Other ingredients:

Sodium maslan, starch, bulking agent microcrystalline cellulose, anti-caking agent magnesium salts of fatty acids, capsule: gelling agents: hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose and carrageenan, colour – calcium carbonate, modified starch, acidity regulator – potassium acetate.

Suggested use:

Adults: 1 capsule twice daily, morning and evening. Recommended to take for at least 3 months.
Children over 7 years: 1 capsule once daily, preferably in the evening.
Recommended to be taken over a period of at least 6 weeks. The capsule should be swallowed whole (without chewing or spilling the contents), drinking water. Best taken with a meal.
