Bilovit Copaiba Essential Oil – 10 ml

Copaiba essential oil is extracted from the trunk of the Copaifera species of tree, which is found in abundance in South American areas. To produce pure oil, oleoresin is needed, which is obtained by gently incising the bark. The raw material collected in this way is then subjected to a steam distillation process, which preserves most of the valuable properties of the resin in a very stable (and convenient) form.

Copaiba oil – properties

Copaiba oil is primarily known for its strong anti-inflammatory and antioxidant activity – it inhibits the activity of inflammatory mediators and reduces oxygen radicals. When used regularly, it firms, moisturizes and improves the condition of the skin, and reduces the appearance of hyperpigmentation. The product is very helpful in the treatment of many dermatological diseases (e.g. rashes, eczema, acne).

Copaiba has a proven antiseptic effect. It cleans wounds and prevents infection – even a small amount of the product effectively inhibits the growth of bacteria and microorganisms, which significantly aids and accelerates the healing process. When applied topically, the oil reduces joint and muscle pain (related to the condition or strain) and improves blood circulation.

It is also used in aromatherapy. It has a complex, rich fragrance – woody and spicy, sweet, but at the same time delicate – it can resemble the aroma of honey or cinnamon. The oil improves mood and has a calming effect, relieving anxiety and stress. Interestingly, in many cultures it is sometimes used as an aphrodisiac, effective and natural.
