Effective sterilisation in minutes

The Philips Avent microwave steam steriliser uses the natural action of steam to effectively eliminate 99.9% of Staphylococcus aureas, Streptococcus agalactiae, Cronobacter sakazakii, Salmonella enterica and Listeria monocytogenes. The test results were confirmed by an independent test laboratory.

The sterilisation time depends on the power of the microwave oven:

• 2 minutes for a power of 1200-1850W.
• 4 minutes for a power of 850-1100W.
• 6 minutes for 500-800W power.

How to use:

Thoroughly wash all items you wish to sterilise.
Pour exactly 200 ml of water into the steriliser base.
Place the bottles and/or accessories in the steriliser, laying them bottom up.
Close the lid and make sure the safety clips are properly fastened.
Place the steriliser in the microwave oven and set the appropriate sterilisation time:
– 2 minutes for 1200-1850W power.
– 4 minutes for 850-1100W power.
– 6 minutes for 500-800W power.
When the cycle is complete, wait at least 2 minutes before removing the steriliser from the microwave.
Carefully open the clamps and lift the lid, directing the steam away from you.
Sterilised items are ready for use or can remain sterile for up to 24 hours if the steriliser remains closed.
