Nanga Thymol – 250 g

Thymol is a colourless, crystalline solid with a baking taste and the characteristic smell of thyme. It occurs as a component of essential oils present in thyme, oregano, savory, among others. It has bactericidal and fungicidal properties. Due to its properties, it was used as early as in ancient Egypt in mummification processes of corpses.

Application

In the form of solutions, it is used topically as a disinfectant for wounds and oral mucous membranes (herpes, aphthous) and in dermatology for skin diseases with itching, purulent eczema.

Thymol can be found in toothpastes, mouthwashes and anti-acne preparations.

Used in beekeeping to control varroa (a disease affecting bees).

Ingredients:

Thymol CZDA, purity above 99.5%.

1 flat measure (1 ml) corresponds to approximately 400 mg of Thymol

Preparation intended for external use and in beekeeping!

When applied externally to the skin, it may increase the absorption of 5-fluorouracil used in chemotherapy.
